Parent Empowerment

We see ourselves as partners with parents of the special needs and typical children at the school. We want parents to know that they are not alone in dealing with complex choices and problems concerning their children. We are available to help.

Parent Empowerment is comprised of parents/caregivers of the children who attend The Special Children's School and the staff who work at the school with our children. These meetings are a great way to meet fellow parents, school staff and become informed about upcoming events at the school and in our community!

The meetings are fun-filled and very informative in which we discuss anything from the traffic flow around the school to plans for teacher appreciation day. If you have a child/children who attend The Special Children's School, you are encouraged to attend these monthly meetings. Daycare is provided, by reservation, for the children if needed, so come join us at the next meeting!
